Overview
Parental Values is an in-house screentime and parental-controls product built at Zeen Technologies for consumer devices. I own the backend — a NestJS service handling device onboarding, custom authentication and RBAC, policy and rule enforcement, and real-time communication with managed devices — plus the deployment pipeline and self-hosted infrastructure it runs on.

Infra & DevOps
- ▸Built the CI/CD pipeline for the backend, with a Slack notification system that reports every deploy — success or failure.
- ▸Provisioned deployment on a clean VPS from scratch: configured Coolify and wired up the full stack around it.
- ▸Stood up a self-hosted, S3-compatible object store using MinIO.
- ▸Set up proper structured logging across the services.
